It looks like everybody like Twitter but honestly I’m not into Twitter! I’ve been using Twitter since August 2009 and until now I only have 17 followers and following 13 accounts which most of them are organizations not people.
Why I joined Twitter? Well here’s the answer:
- Because I want to know what is Twitter
- Because people have it! :D
But in fact, I don’t really use it. I think Twitter is not about friends. It’s like broadcast network. Twitter is about fame! It’s about following and being followed. The more famous you are, the more followers you’ll have. Let me ask you, does anybody famous follow you on your Twitter? Nope, but you follow them!
One more, Twitter has not enough space to write anything. What should I write with max 140 characters long? Even less than SMS max characters! So I prefer Facebook to keep in touch with my friends. Facebook is more elaborate than Twitter. What social network site are you tied to?
